Mysore Plain Dosa

Description

Mysore Dosa is a flavorful variation of the traditional South Indian dosa, originating from the city of Mysuru in Karnataka. It is known for its crisp texture and the distinctive layer of spicy red chutney spread inside before being filled with potato masala or served plain.

The dosa batter is made from fermented rice and urad dal, spread thin on a hot tawa and crisped to golden perfection. The signature red chutney, made with dry red chilies, garlic, roasted chana dal, and a hint of tamarind, is applied to the inside surface of the dosa, adding a tangy heat and deep flavor.
